Yosemite National Park:

Yosemite National Park is one of the largest forest reserves in United States with 760,000 acres included in its area. It was established in 1864 by President Lincoln. It offers a grand variability of activities for hiking, climbing, biking and other interests. We decided to head to Yosemite National park to look for an adventure.

Rainbow Pool is a swimming hole off of Highway 120 just before crossing the Tuolumne River. Before crossing the bridge there is a single lane road to the parking lot. Accessing the pool is free. Some people visit just to jump off the 25ft high rock ledge into the deep water.

Bridalveil Fall is also called Pohono, "Spirit of the Putting wind." The Hike to Bridalveil Fall is approximate 10 minutes (0.5 miles round trip). It is an easy hike on a paved path. The view of the 620ft waterfall is impressive!

Vernal Fall is reached via a strenuous hike. The starting point is Happy Isles. After walking for 0.8 miles we arrived to Vernal Fall Footbridge. This is the last point on this trail to get drinking water. After we stopped at Vernal Fall Footbridge we headed on to the Mist Trail. This path took us to Vernal Fall. The hike to Vernal Fall is approximate 4 hours (3.2 miles round trip). The elevation gain is 1,000 ft.

Nevada Fall : Happy Isles  6 hours (7 miles round trip) strenuous 1,900 ft going up, Haft Dome
